Ghost in Ground (Middle Up)
The Ghost Shroom is an inside that exploits the middle break point of the Ghost. The Ghost Shroom looks similar to a mushroom, with the wings of the Ghost representing the "cap", and with the hull of the Ghost representing the "stem". This likeness led Cal, who did quite a bit of work with this stunt, to coin the name "Ghost Shroom".
History[]
The Ghost Shroom was created by AgentD00nut in late 2005 on Danger Canyon. Since then, the Ghost Shroom has been done on many other maps as well, and has been used as a starting point for other stunts. Most players regard the Shroom as an interesting and difficult stunt.
Other information[]
Ghost Half-Shroom[]
When a ghost is inside of the ground by its middle break point, but the bottom half is not outside of the map, the ghost is considered to be a Half-Shroom. It is common for people to mistake Half-Shrooms for shrooms, though they are very different. The ghost half-shroom is not a true shroom, although its front half is identical to a normal shroom, the bottom half isn't. Thus, it is deemed a Half-Shroom. See Ghost Half-Shroom for more details.
States[]
The ghost shroom can be, in some cases, forced down beyond its normal point. So the wings of the ghost are even closer to the ground. This was discovered at the same time that the shroom itself was discovered on Danger Canyon by AgentD00nut.
Trivia[]
- The ghost shroom has been done on every map that has vehicles except Gephyrophobia.
