The Warthog Turret Bump is a bumping technique that involves standing on the hood of a Warthog in a room that is about one ghost-length high and moving the Warthog forward to bump into the ceiling.

Tutorial[]

Melee Method[]

  1. Position the Warthog underneath the ceiling where you want to bump.
  2. Jump onto the hood of the Warthog, and move as close to the turret of the Warthog as possible while staying centered on the Warthog.
    • You should be able to move at least three fourths of the way to the turret of the Warthog, if you can't then the ceiling is too low.
  3. Aim at the front of the Warthog, so that a Large Reticle would be just barely touching the tip of front of the Warthog.
    • If you are aiming too low, the Warthog will not move forward enough and you will not be bumped into the ceiling. If you are aiming too high, your melees will miss the Warthog. Try to aim as high as possible without your melees missing the Warthog.
  4. Melee until you are bumped above the turret of the Warthog.

Driving Method[]

This method requires the cooperation of two players, who shall be referred to as Player 1 and Player 2.

  1. Have Player 1 position the Warthog underneath the ceiling where you want to bump.
  2. Have Player 1 jump onto the hood of the Warthog, and move as close to the turret of the Warthog as possible while staying centered on the Warthog.
    • Player 1 should be able to move at least halfway to the turret of the Warthog; if they can't, then the ceiling is too low.
  3. Have Player 2 get in the driver seat of the Warthog and drive forward about half a Warthog length so that Player 1 bumps into the ceiling.
